Madison Booker is the proud of owner of A Brush of Art. She has lived 25 years of her life completely immersed in the both the performing and visual arts. She is a gifted educator, dancer, visual artist, mentor, public speaker, competition/ pageant coach and program director.

 

She is a graduate of the prestigious national blue ribbon international baccalaureate high school Baltimore City College in Baltimore Maryland. Madison has a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in dance from Towson University. On a mission to add 'a brush of art' to the lives of today's youth Madison is a dedicated servant to students in many Baltimore communities. She has spent 15 years serving as a dance instructor, summer camp director, dance team coach, volunteer dance teacher, dance ministry choreographer, and a dance educator in BCPS schools. At the age of 15 she created her own art program for the youth called 'Art for the Randallstown Heart' where she offered free art lessons to aspiring artists in elementary school. As a pageant queen she has held the following titles: Miss Francis Scott Key, a local title for the Miss America Pageant Systems; Miss Maryland Exquisite International, and Miss Black and Gold.

 

On her mission to become a professional dancer Madison has had the opportunity to perform live on Fox 45 Baltimore and has choreographed a live performance on BET's Wild out Wednesday. She has also performed with violinist Vivian Green and recording artists Vicki Winans, and Chub Rock.

A Brush of Art was started in January 2016. Since it's start Madison has spent years hosting paint parties for various occasions, community arts events, and dance workshops to strengthen the family dynamic. In 2018 Madison decided to expand the company into a Dance Center. With the support of her loving family, and inspiration from her three daughters, Madison proudly announced the opening of A Brush of Art Dance Center on June 10th 2018.

Madison gives glory to God for all her success and blessings. A huge thank you to her mother for introducing her to dance at age 5. Thank you to family and mentors who have spent years pouring support, love and guidance over her life.
